AARP Smart DriverParticipants will learn defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws and rules of the road to safely adjust driving to compensate for age-related changes. Persons who complete the course will be issued a Certificate of Completion to be provided to your insurance company for a discount. Please feel free to bring a brown bag lunch to class. All course materials are provided to participants and no tests are involved. You will learn about weaknesses your church may have, how to fix them and different strategies that are effective in making sure your church is as safe as it can be from potential threats. All technical gear is provided and a personal suggested clothing list and the Medical Form/Participant Agreement will be supplied by WILD GUYde Adventures after registration.Registration link: Beginner Rock Climbing & Rappelling Fee $60 | Register By September 22 Saturday October 7 | 9-5pm | Ages 12+ @George Washington National Forest Women's BasketballThe adult women’s basketball season will start in January and run through March. Game days will be on Wednesday nights at John C. Myers Elementary School. We will have 8 teams and a wait list will be available after registration is full.Registration link: Women's Basketball Fee $350 per team | Register By January 2 Season: January 10-March 13 | 6-10pm Ages 16+ | @John C Myers Elementary School | Back Country Navigation ClinicAn afternoon of learning and practicing map and compass skills out in the George Washington Ntl.
